About Us

My name is Tyrone Marsh and I have over 16 years experience in the pub trade. Prior to starting my consultancy business, I worked across in a range of areas within the industry. From an early age, I worked as an assistant chef in a busy country pub whilst gaining my NVQs. I was promoted to head chef at 18 before being recruited as manager of another pub where, at the age of 19, I became one of the youngest licensees in the south of England. After getting great results there and improving the turnover I then moved on to manage a bigger and busier pub. At 24 I bought the pub from the existing owners and had 8 very successful years there.

I am a licensee holder and a fellow member of the Institute of Innkeeping.

Running a pub can be extremely hard work, but the rewards are there in the end. After selling my own pub, I launched InnProvement with the aim of helping others in the trade who want to get the best out of their pubs, whether they’re new to the trade and buying a pub for the first time, looking to inject new life into a struggling establishment, or just keen to try fresh ideas.
